David Cohen completed a BSc (Hons) in geology at Sydney University and subsequently an MSc at Queen’s University, Canada, and PhD at UNSW in exploration geochemistry. David has over 25 years research experience in exploration and environmental geochemistry with projects based in Australia, Europe, Asia, the Middle East and North America. He has worked on a number of aspects of geochemistry ranging from sampling and analytical methods to data processing methods. He has published over 50 papers, book chapters and major government reports and has been a technical consultant to various companies and government departments. He is co-author of the exploration geochemistry component of the Elsevier Treatise on Geochemistry. He is past president of the Association of Applied Geochemists, Fellow of the AIG and the 2013 AusIMM Visiting Lecturer to New Zealand.
